Welcome to Hotel Tarapith, managed by Esoftking Infotech. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and hotel booking services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our platform.

1. Definitions

  • "Platform" refers to the Hotel Tarapith website and mobile applications
  • "User" refers to any person accessing or using our Platform
  • "Customer" refers to users making hotel bookings
  • "Hotel Owner" refers to property owners listing their hotels
  • "Services" refers to hotel booking and related services we provide
  • "We," "Us," "Our" refers to Hotel Tarapith and Esoftking Infotech

2. Account Registration

  • You must create an account to make bookings on our Platform
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • You must provide accurate, complete, and current information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

3. Booking Process and Confirmation

When making a booking:

  • Select your desired hotel, room type, and check-in/check-out dates
  • Provide accurate guest information as required
  • Pay the required advance amount (30% of total booking amount)
  • You will receive a booking confirmation via email and SMS
  • The booking confirmation contains your unique booking ID and details
  • Present the booking confirmation and valid ID at hotel check-in
  • Bookings are subject to availability and hotel confirmation

4. Payment Terms

Advance Payment

  • 30% advance payment is required to confirm your booking
  • Advance payments are processed through Razorpay payment gateway
  • We accept credit cards, debit cards, net banking, UPI, and digital wallets
  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR)
  • Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise

Remaining Payment

  • 70% remaining payment is to be made at the hotel
  • Payment can be made during check-in or check-out as per hotel policy
  • Hotels may accept cash, card, or other payment methods

Service Charge

We charge a 15% service fee on each booking. This fee covers platform maintenance, customer support, payment processing, and technology services. The service charge is included in the total price displayed.

5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policies vary by hotel and are displayed at the time of booking. General guidelines:

  • More than 48 hours before check-in: Free cancellation (full refund minus processing fee)
  • 24-48 hours before check-in: 50% refund of advance payment
  • Less than 24 hours before check-in: No refund
  • No-show: No refund

Specific cancellation terms are stated in your booking confirmation. Please review them carefully.

6. Check-in and Check-out

  • Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM
  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur extra charges
  • Valid government-issued photo ID is mandatory for all guests at check-in
  • Hotels reserve the right to refuse check-in if proper identification is not provided
  • All guests must comply with hotel rules and local laws

7. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Make fraudulent bookings or payments
  • Attempt to manipulate prices or availability
  • Interfere with the Platform's functionality or security
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or hotel staff
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Scrape, copy, or reproduce Platform content without permission

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design, is the property of Hotel Tarapith and Esoftking Infotech and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Hotel Tarapith acts as an intermediary platform connecting customers with hotel owners. We are not responsible for:

  • The quality, safety, or legality of hotels listed
  • The accuracy of hotel descriptions, photos, or amenities
  • Actions or omissions of hotel owners or staff
  • Disputes between customers and hotels
  • Loss, damage, or injury occurring at hotel premises
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, government actions)

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the booking in question.

10. Dispute Resolution

In case of any disputes:

  • Contact our customer support team first for resolution
  • We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably
  • Disputes that cannot be resolved will be subject to arbitration
  • The laws of India shall govern these Terms
  • Courts in Birbhum, West Bengal shall have exclusive jurisdiction

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

12. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms and Conditions
  • You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
  • You provide false information
  • Your actions harm the Platform or other users

You may close your account at any time by contacting customer support.
